📌 On one side, tech enthusiasts who enjoy the thrill and freedom of autonomous driving,
📌 On the other, those who still take pleasure in the tactile experience of driving a classic car.
As vehicles move toward full autonomy, the emotional bond between humans and cars will inevitably weaken — and with it, traditional car ownership may rapidly decline.
History is repeating itself: People who once had a deep affection for their horses abandoned them with the arrival of automobiles. Now, the very cars that replaced those horses are facing the same fate.
It’s hard to stand in the way of technological transformation. Over the next 5 to 15 years, we will witness a fast and inevitable transition to autonomous vehicles.
First on highways. Then in cities. The burdens of traffic, long commutes, and the stress of urban driving will be lifted.
Driving may soon become a recreational activity — something done in clubs, much like horseback riding today.
But what about those of us who are passionate about cars?We might resist this shift. We may build our own machines — maybe even in a Mad Max style — and keep the spirit of driving alive.
🏇🚗 Culture may evolve, but passion will endure. 🚗🏇
