Local Production in Turkey and Sudden Regulatory Shifts

Turkey's domestic production and industrial infrastructure have been built according to the current system. Changing this system abruptly is tantamount to sending a “kill signal” to local manufacturers. While the European market is weak, further weakening the domestic producers by regulatory changes does not serve national interests.
Assessing the impact of the regulations aimed at enhancing TOGG’s competitiveness remains difficult at this stage..Altering motor power or battery capacity lacks the effectiveness to achieve such protection.
Meanwhile, the incentives provided to plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEVs) appear highly odd. Within the next few years, it wouldn't surprise me if Tesla offers range and power upgrades via software updates for as little as $1,000. After all, these modifications are designed to comply with current motor vehicle tax (ÖTV) rules.
I sincerely hope that this legislation is not enacted in its proposed form.
